Pakistan won the Super 4 match against India by 5 wickets and with one ball remaining. Mohammad Rizwan led his team to victory with a match-winning 71. His 73 runs partnership with Mohammad Nawaz proved decisive for Pakistan.

Afghanistan lost a hard-fought game against Sri Lanka in their first Super 4 match. They had earlier defeated Sri Lanka and Bangladesh in the group stage but were unable to maintain their composure in the Super 4 game. They will now face Pakistan, a side that may be unpredictable on occasion. If the Afghans are to beat this Pakistan team with numerous match winners, they will need to be at their best in every discipline.
