PCB Disclosed two stadiums for the Asia Cup 2023 in hybrid mode

 

The PCB has disclosed that two stadiums are designated as the venues for the Asia Cup 2023 in hybrid mode. However, participation of Pakistan in the Asia Cup is still on the knife edge, but we should know where the games will be held.

The Asia Cup 2023 tournament will be held at the Gaddafi Stadium Lahore and Dubai International Stadium, according to Geo News. This is one of the biggest events at these venues.

According to the proposal, the first part of the hybrid mode introduced by PCB is scheduled to take place in Lahore's Ghaddafi Stadium, with four matches included. The Dubai International Stadium is scheduled to host the remaining matches of this competition.

The Indian cricket board (BCCI) has denied sending their team to Pakistan due to security reasons. This is why the hybrid mode was offered. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has tried to bring international cricket back to Pakistan, and this method was offered.

The use of a hybrid mode for Asia Cup 2023 is yet to be officially approved, but PCB has already declared the venues and expressed confidence in selling more tickets in Dubai than in Abu Dhabi and Sharjah.
