Teams & Format : ICC ODI World Cup 2023


The competition will follow the same rules as the 2019 Cricket World Cup. The top four teams from each of the 10 countries—New Zealand, India, Pakistan, Australia, England, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, and the Netherlands—will advance to the semi-finals after playing each other once in a round-robin format. After the round-robin, the top teams will get the 4th place on the table, whereas the 2nd and third-place teams will play in the semi-finals as per the ICC.
