Between 1976 and 2005, the Netherlands participated in eight ICC Trophy events. In 2001, they won the tournament in Canada, and in 1986 and 1990, they finished runner-up two times. The Netherlands (Dutch) played in four ICC Cricket World Cups in the years 1996, 2003, 2007, and 2011. In 2009, 2014, and 2016, they were also played in T20 World Cups.
